These are the Transformers I have up on display in my room. On with the final set:

          Has been moved here: http://www.retrojunk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17751

And thats it. I'd love to hear what everyone thinks. This collection does date back to 1983.

            That's a very nice collection indeed! :D

I've got over 300 TransFormers, but you have a LOT more G1 than I do. My younger siblings destroyed most of the toys I had as a kid, so I've got a couple of originals, several reissues, and then just a ton of G2, Beast Wars, and newer. Lots of imports. A friend of mine has more than 600. I don't know where he gets the money

Oh man, I'm going to bookmark this page to relieve the memories! It would cheaper than having to track them all down myself in comic stores or off e-bay.

Huh. They were giving them out free to everyone who attended Botcon last summer.

I've actually never been to a BotCon. The owner of the my comics shop always gives me free retailer stuff that he doesn't want. I've got a few other Transformers posters from DreamWave.

You should go sometime. Even if you don't buy the expensive collector's sets of convention exclusive toys, there's always at least one exclusive repaint you can get for free, just by showing up. I went just for one day last year (since it was nearby) and got in for $3. You can also find some great bargains in the dealers' room, and it's just fun to hang out with the other fans :)

I've always wanted to go. I'm just waiting for it to come back to the Chicago area. I already attend both Anime Central and Wizard World Chicago every year. Between those two I just don't have the money to travel to a convention.

Where is Botcon held? I remember watching some special on it on my G1 DVD's, but that was awhile back.

Well, the thing is that the con moves every year. I know it was in Fort Wayne, Indiana two years in a row then moved on. So you really need to check and make sure where it is. Its pretty nice since not everyone can travel to a convention.

                                      Ah, I see.

I guess that's fair then. Kind of like the Olympics or World Cup or something.

But with Transformers so its 1000 times better! :D
