I threw my controller because of Lord of the Ring the Two Towers because I could not get past one scene. I would get sooo PISSED because it would take forever to get to the part where I would lose. I finally got by it but my controller definitely got thrown a few times because of it...

I broke my original Gameboy after getting ticked at Tetris.

Why does this post remind me of the german kid getting freaked at one of his computer games?

Well, I kept control enough to not throw the controller at the wall. But Mortal Kombat 3 was close, very close.

I broke mine over Sega's X-Men. Never could get past that darned Mojo and his deadly exploding televisions.

There's one less copy of Bard's Tale for Ps2 in the world now because one had the misfortune of pissing me off.

Never busted a controller myself, but I've watched an old friend go through a couple of NES controllers when Metroid came out.

thats sad.... i've become close to an expert at melee.

Melee is like the only Gamecube game that they hold official tournaments for. I've played through and unlocked everything there is to unlock and can defeat most anyone I play easily on that game, but I still consider myself a novice knowing that there are people who play this game professionally.

On the breaking controllers note I have a choice few. Vice City in the one mission where you have to race Hilary and he's got that suped up Sabre. I don't know why I couldn't do this mission, in San Andreas I can do anything, I even got my pilot's liscense in less than 30 minutes, but in Vice City it took me a good three days to beat him. Another frustrating one for me was God of War believe or not. When I first played I got to the part where you have to cross the wooden beams in the first stage and since my PS2 controller is pretty old and touchy, I kept falling off. I died so many times the game asked me if I wished to switch to easy mode. :(

I can remember breaking my controller playing Madden 01 and my my wide receiver got the ball and was about to when the game and then all of a sudden he fumbled at the 3yrd line and lost the game. I was so mad because the wide receiver never fumbled the whole entire season. By that result my PS1 two player controller was never the same again.

Ultimate Spider-man trying to unlock the black suit. True Crime Streets of L.A. because the aiming controls are retarded. Super Smash Bros Melee trying to fight both giant hands. Those are the ones that stick out the most.

ninja gaiden xbox, i actually broke the disc, which i rented from hollywood video lol. I had to go buy a used copy to replace it with. And i broke it onyl after playing about half an hour heh.

pride fighting, just rediculous mechanics made me bust by nikko air flow controller.

my ps2 controlelr got thrown intop my 48 inch mitsubishi hd tv, the controlel rbroke and it left a scratch, luckily a small sctatch, on the screen. this was over socom.

oh and gta vice city i broke a couple controlelrs, those missions are bunk! I stillc an't pass the one where you have to make that chick crash and make it look liek an accident, she drives all goofy before you tap her but onc eyou do she drives liek mario andretti making 180 turns on a dime and stuff..bogus!! also the helicopter mission im stuck on, matter opf fact im stuck on every game i own, maybe i just suck at games.

lots more but cant remember, luckily i have changed and decided not to destroy my things over games lol.

Well the first time i messed up my controller was when i was playing NFL 95 for the Genesis and i spilled some juice on the controller and the A button got stuck and it became hard to press. The First time i BROKE a controller was when i was playing my friend in ESPN NFL 2k5 and i was down by 5 points and i throw the hail mary and T.O cought the ball and i was running down the side lines and then some DB came out of no where and hit him and made him fumble. The worst part was because the ball didn't bounce out of bounds like usual but instead spinned around on the hashmarks and the DB came and picked it up and ran out the time. And i throw the controller on the floor and then the Controller never worked again.

Mario Party 1 for the N64 wore out the analog stick on my controller because of those damn stick-rotating minigames! It also gave me a big blister in the palm of my hand because spinning the stick with my palm is faster!

I remember getting blisters that way too, but I never damaged the stick. I guess Nintendo caught wind of that happening because I remember one Nintendo Power where they were offering gloves specifically for that mini game (because God knows it's bloody impossible to win it without palm rotation). Then Mario Party 2 came out and no more tug of war. Gee, I wonder why.

I've never broken a controller in my life, but I have had my share of punching walls and what not. I specifically remember:

-Trying to get the Sun Sigil in Final Fantasy X. Worst Chocobo mini game ever!
-Last Doc Oct in Spiderman 2. For some reason I had the hardest damn time with him, either dying or falling in the water.
-Sonic Heroes - The whoe damn game. Specifically that egg fleet (whatever it was called). That's the game that proved to me that Sonic was going down the drain.
-Mario RPG. Now I love the game, but back then it was the first RPG I ever played and I just was not getting the battle system. I don't know why I decided to buy it sometime later, but I'm glad I did.

Then there's all the various other times when things just annoy me too many times and my fuse runs out.
