    Star Wars fighting game
No idea what the name was, it was for PSX. Most fighting games do that to me.

Star Wars: Master of Teras Kasi

That was an awful game, and I believe it was the first I used my Best Buy discount on.

I've thrown down some controllers in my day, but can't recall ever breaking them

Now I have broken my hand over video games. My youngest niece deleted my PS2 memory card. Late at night when I found out my 3 years worth of saves were gone, I stared at the screen for about 30 seconds then punched the floor as hard as I could. Whole right side of my hand folded under my palm... couldn't even see it from a view from the top. I set it myself, and the next day went to the hospital for a splint after getting no sleep from the throbbing

Oh my god, I've broken so many controllers getting pissed off at games.
Just yesterday I almost shattered my 360 controller playing dang Call of Duty 2 on Veteran.

The last game I remember breaking a controller over was Stuntman on the ps2. There have been plenty more breaks and shatters since then I just can't remember the games.

Mario Party 1 for the N64 wore out the analog stick on my controller because of those damn stick-rotating minigames! It also gave me a big blister in the palm of my hand because spinning the stick with my palm is faster!

not because i was mad, but track and field 1 for the NES. i pressed the buttons too fast and they didn't work after that.
I now hold the world records for Super Mario Bros. 1 and 2! :)

Ha, that same thing happened to me too... expect the analog stick broke right off! That game can ruin controllers. X_o

But hmm, cant say I ever threw a game controller out of frustration before. If I get angry at a game, I just turn it off and grumble a lot lol. The only other controller accident (aside from my MP1 thingy), is when I was playing Mario Kart 64 on the N64, and I accidentally spelled Dr. Pepper all over my blue controller I was using, and it stopped working.

same here, that was the only time I almost broke a controller though.

id have to say super smash brothers melee. now, dont get me wrong....i can RAWK the 64 one....and im decent on melee....but the time i remember throwing my controller across the room and almost broke it was when i decided to play my nephew (4 years old) all day....and had my ass handed to me :?

i literally threw the controller (after 3 hours of playing) and said, "sorry little dude, im done. lets go outside and play".

back in the day before there were memory cards and before you could save..other than passwords and maybe a couple of games that could actually save

I would pretty much get pissed at those games cuz you to do the level all over again!

I got so frustrated over Donkey Kong Country 2 (For the SNES) that I erased all three files and threw it in the back of the video shelf. I've never broke a controller on purpose, but when I was a kid, I was playing Super Mario World with my mom and she accidentally sat on the controller and broke the cord out of it. Then I remember she was playing Mickey's Magical Quest and somehow she knocked the Super NES behind the TV. It fell a good four feet, and I'm surprised it didn't break!

Well, I broke my first Gamecube over something, but what it was I can't remember (maybe Viewtiful Joe?).

I've never abused my hardware out of frustration or anger.

Dang! Those are hard to break! I'd hate to see how fast you could break a PS2!

Ah, you know... raging hormones, or something to that effect. Still, Nintendo has always been known for their systems' durability. Once a kid wrote into Nintendo Power (complete with picture) stating his Game Boy Color survived mud, a lawnmower, his dog, and finally a thunderstorm and found that it still worked perfectly the next day. Just the fact my Gamecube went on the fritz after I threw it across the floor scares me.

Seriously. Gamecubes have been hit with baseball bats and dropped off of buildings and survived it.

What I can remember... I almost busted my my PS2 Dualshock 2: R2 button a bunch of times playing Battle Assault 3 Featuring Gundam SEED whenever a short time limit's involved.
After all that button mashing I tend to drop my controller on the wooden floor R2 button head first to go on impact.
                                        Reminiscing hurts my brain.

on "tie figther" for the PC. i broke 2 thrustmaster FCS top gun sticks. anyone that remembers these sticks will recall the quality was top notch, that is too show how intense my gaming was on that game, not only did i break the sticks , but i also developed a "trigger callus" on my index finger that i have to this day
