I was talking about when you hotlink off of stuff like tripod/angelfire/etc and it displays the pic of hosted by tripod, or in your case, why you shouldn't hotlink.

        But, whatever.

Yes, this is what I refer to as tripod/angelfire/???/etc ownage, they started this stuff back in 2002-2003, when remote linking was a hot issue.

EDIT: OT I know, but niolani, what FTP/HTTP daemon you use ? Also, you using Unix for that webserver ?

              Say what now?

Resident Evil and Eternal Darkness. The rest aren't available here and/or aren't that good quality. Metroid Prime 1 was an exception although I, personally, totally lost my interest after the second playthrough. Same for Eternal Darkness. But those were among the very few, good games on the console.

In case you are wondering which ones were the rest, they were SM Sunshine, Luigi's Mansion, and -for exactly one playthrough- the Windwaker. Not much to talk about when comparing to PS2.

I don't use Unix. I usuallay upload most of my image files on a web space I own. This one allow hotlinking, but I can only use FTP for uploading. Sometimes, it's happen that the FTP service won't work. Is there anything else you want to know?

I found a better image to use. Should have known better than using Angelfire/Tripod. I am shamed. :(

Personally, the PS2 gets my vote for the fugliest console, though the Playstation 'George Foreman Grill' 3 is giving it a run for its money. The PS2 has all those stupid ledges in the front that trap dust and the vent holes are in about the worst possible spot if you keep yours horizontal like mine. That being said, it really doesn't matter to me what the units looks like. I don't spend my time gaming looking at the console.

for best looking i would vote for the Game cube, it was the perfect example of form following fuction, small footprint, carrying handle, analog disc insertion. this console would have been king if it only had played dvd's, this is the same thing that killed the also great dreamcast.

for ugly , i would vote for the turbografix 16. the thing looked like a brick, and it was built like one , it was one of the last consumer electronics that had CAST IRON components!

Hey, game consoles are for playing games, not CD's or DVD's. The PS2 and Xbox have that just to make it look better. True gamers buy the consoles for the games.

I'll just list my top 3 worst and best (in no particular order)

                          Best:

                          Slim PS2
                          GameCube
                          Nintendo 64

                          Worst:

                          X-Box
                          PS2
                          Dreamcast

I wish it still worked that way. Here's what happened with the PS2 though. First there were nearly no good games (mostly stayed that way 'til about 2003), but people bought it because it was the cheapest DVD player available. Then developers and publishers noticed that a LOT of people bought the system, so they started concentrating all their attention on it. Then the real gamers had to take notice that most of the good new games were showing up for the PS2 instead of other systems, so then they had to buy one for the games.

I agree with you there all the way. Video game systems aren't supposed to be used for DVDs CDs and Web browsers. I mean c'mon, Sony's turning their consoles into computers now.

                                  The Good:
                                  Gamecube
                                  SNES
                                  NES
                                  N64
Slim PS2(although it's pretty much a waste of money unless you'll be carrying your PS2 around alot.
                                  Genesis
                                  Dreamcast

                                  The Bad:
                                  Xbox
                                  PS2
                                  PSX(that thing was gigantic)
                                  PS1
Atari SX(it looks like a computer with no monitor!)
