          		 true, the code doesnt NEED select to work, but it is for 2 players. So when you hit select then start, it goes to 2 players and you both get 30 lives. Without select it is 1 player and you still get the 30 lives, but what fun is contra without 2 players?

            Exactly...can you imagine if you could accidently shoot each other in that game...man 30 wouldn't have been enough...Wasnt the game called ProtectoBot or something in Europe?

              ahhhh ok! Now I got it. I just loaded it up to see :)
              I always hit the select first that's why that confruzed me haha
              Nothing more frustrating than playing 2 players and trying to jump on the waterfall level when your homie is too far away screwing your jump and you die, loosing the spread gun. Tell me that don't bring back memories!

                		 A friend of mine said they were actually going to make a live-action movie with Arnie and Stallone back in the 80's with James Camerson directing, Turns out he was lying. But it would have been interesting to see.

                        Lundgren's an interesting choice. However it would be funny to see who would get the job seeing as how they both seem to speak the same form of "Grunting English". :lol:
