    All right, here goes.

It was a toy truck thing. It was about the size of a RC car, but what made it wierd was that it was about 3 feet long. It was made of segments so that it could drive up stairs and any other obsticle that got in its way. You couldn't control it. You would just turn it on and let it go.

My friend had one when I was 6 and I was soooooo jealous. Now that I have a job and some money, I can finally get one on ebay. If I could only remember what it was called.....

    Thanks guys,
    Jimbo

There was a toy truck that sounds similar called the Mountain Monster. It looked like a semi truck, but had about 20 wheels all in a row and each axle was a different segment. It had a wired joystick remote control though.

That name does ring a bell. Can't seem to find it on eBay or Google. And it might have had a controller attched to it. Hell it was 17 years ago I probably forgot.

        Well, back to searching...

        Thanks,
        Jimbo

I think I might have a commercial on a video tape from 1987, I will check on that when I get a chance.
And now for something completely different................

They only picture I could find was in a 1987 Christmas catalog, so that sounds right for the commercial.
