adventoflegion 8 years 5 months ago Posts: 3	I still own a dreamcast as well as many of the games. Yet, no one has still mentioned Soul Calibur. That game was one of the greatest games on that system, or any, for that matter. I mean, it received perfect 10s mostly everywhere. I also forgot to mention Dead or Alive 2.

Dawg 8 years 5 months ago Posts: 484	There are so many great Dreamcast games... Dreamcast: R.I.P. It was my all-time FAVORITE game system. Even today's game systems just aren't up to the standards that Dreamcast was & is. I bought the system the day after I heard that they were going to start discontinuing the system & it dropped to $99.00. Games were plentiful & also cheap. Top favorites include the following: [u]Sonic Adventure & Sonic Adventure 2[/u]: I was blown away because it really seemed radically different from the old school Sonics and even a change from Mario. I loved the textures, and I got so giddy when Sonic was running away from a giant rig chasing Sonic in the opening of Sonic 2. [u]Shenmue[/u]: I can't stand the English translation because the voice acting is so bad, but it was a fun game & very original. The 2nd one was just as great, but it came out for X-Box [u]SEGA Bass Fishing 1 & 2. SEGA Deep Sea Fishing [/u](Marlin?): Great games when used with the fishing controller. No other system has since come out with the fishing controller & used successfully in such fun games. There have also not been any fun fishing games since the release of these games. [u]Crazy Taxi & Crazy Taxi 2[/u]: The ultimate driving game. The ultimate arcade game... all in one! I loved the arcade game & to see a port so perfect to the arcade just blew my mind. [u]Daytona USA Racing[/u]: Another great driving game that was arcade perfect! [u]Jet Grind Radio[/u]: Although I liked Jet Set Radio-Future more (X-Box only), this game really set a trend in originality. The music was great & the whole concept was unique & fun. [u]Rayman 2[/u]: This game was an excellent plaformer along with spectacular graphics that hold up to today's standards [u]Virtual Tennis 1 & 2[/u]: This revolutionized tennis as we know it making it a fun game. I loved the minigames to help build your stamina. [u]Ferrari F355 Challenge[/u]: It didn't have the 3 screens like the arcade, but it was fun because it was realistic & was a perfect port of the arcade. [u]Wacky Races[/u]: Oh man, this was definately a great racer. It was silly & fun. [u]Resident Evil: Code Veronica[/u]: I never cared for Resident Evil until this game came out. It really put the series into perspective because it was actually fun & I could control the character without throwing my controller to the ground in frustration. Oh, it was spooky too!
