I know what you mean, Man. Those TV shows eat up a lot of space!

I tried building my own home entertainment center but that was a disaster from the start. lol

I hope the next gen of DVD's (Blu/HD) can help compress the space into like one double sided disc or something. Then I could fit like a hundred shows on one shelf! 8)

Hey imissthe80s. I'm not sure how many DVDs you have now but you may want to try the free program DVDProfiler http://www.intervocative.com/dvdpro/Info.aspx

Whenever someone asks what movies I have, I could never remember them all and send them to my DVDProfiler link http://www.intervocative.com/dvdcollection.aspx/JenDaveN

As far as storage goes, I bought several media cabinets when MediaPlay as going out of business.

I was using some software to track my DVDs since I was nearing the 300 movie mark at the time. Can't recall it's name, but it worked with this CueCat barcode scanner that I got off Ebay haha. I would use barcodes from cans in the house since I didn't have a laser printer so all the cans had these mysterious squares missing from their labels haha. It got old after about 2 days but I'm just OCD that way I guess.

Oh, and I used to buy empty cases for my DVDs too but that took up way too much space. I bought a couple of 200 cd/dvd binders and store them in there now. Just kick the binder under the entertainment center for EZ storage :) Beats the hell out of shelves and cases and printing labels.
