darthmunk 8 years 6 months ago Posts: 3365	What are your top 10 favorite PS1 games of all time. I'm trying to boost up my collection. I'm not looking for sports or stategy games though. Mostly RPGs and platformers. I already have a large collection, so chances are, I already have the ones you are going to post.

flamepanther 8 years 6 months ago Posts: 948	Yay! My scond least favorite out of any game console I own (next to Intellivision)! In no particular order... Mega Man X4 (X5 and X6 are lame) Mega Man Legends 2 (first one is better on N64) Omega Boost Silent Hill Rakugaki Showtime (import, very rare) Klonoa Legend of Mana Castlevania: Symphony of the Night Dance Dance Revolution Blaster Master: Blasting Again I would have suggested Silhouette Mirage, but Working Designs ruined it, and it was better on Saturn anyway. Would have suggested Mega Man 8, it it's seriously gimped compared to the Saturn version. Would have suggested Rayman 2, but it's awful compared to any other version of the game. PS1 had a horrible port of Street Fighter Alpha 3. You're better off with any other version besides maybe Game Boy Advance.

Cigarette Smoking Man 8 years 6 months ago Posts: 227	For RPG's, check out: Valkyrie Profile Xenogears Persona/ Persona 2:Eternal Punishment Lunar:Silver Star Story/ Lunar 2:Eternal Blue Hoshigami:Runing Blue Earth Ogre Battle Alundra Tales of Destiny/Tales of Destiny 2 Chrono Cross Vandal Hearts/Vandal Hearts 2 Front Mission 3 (this is strategy RPG yes, but the game kicks ass...plus its a Squaresoft game, y'know, from back when they were good developers) Oh and a few games mentioned are good, as a fighting game fan I also dug Rival Schools and Marvel Superheroes vs. Streetfighter (although Cyber-Akuma is sooooo broke), but if you dig RPG's, then perhaps Tobal and Ehrgeiz would be up your alley. Also, Omega Boost is a good mention, but the game gets really hard in the latter stages, IIRC. I could go on...I have a really big PS1 collection =) Lets just see out of those, which, if any, you have.
