Has anyone mentioned Alone in the dark? While I like the game I can't deny that the graphics leave something to be desired.

You know what they say: If you wanna save the world you gotta push a few old ladies down the stairs

Actually, they aren't. They are just... 10 years late. Had it been published along the times of Doom, Hexen, Shadow Warrior, Duke Nukem, or Redneck Rampage and it would had been a classic. Funnily enough, I did finish M&M7 twice even though it was published only a year before. Some consider M&M6 a classic (or the pinnacle of the serie) and that was... erm... 1995? Or was it '94? #7 was published '96, right?

Any game with CGA graphics. You know the ones, where the screen was only purple, gray, aquamarine blue, and occasionally green. Whenever i play my old "commander keen" games i have to keep from barfing when i look at those colors.

The Keen games all have 16-color EGA modes though. Why not use that instead of CGA? :?

I was always an avid video game fan until around the time PSX and N64 were mostly just doing 3rd person 3d platformers. I remember I'd rent a couple when I was sick and took a day or two off of school. The all too often terrible camera work and the sort of claustrophobic feeling of some of the games graphics really weren't making me feel better. So now I always associate games like Banjo Kazooie, Gex, Conker, and the like with being sick to my stomach.
