I cant tank you people enough. Without this site i never had the chance to get the titles from the cartoons i remember :D

In many years i had tried to get many of the old cartoons on dvd but it is very hard and many times is not possible to get the shop to deliver to Danmark!

So chances to get a reunion of the childhood memory´s is very small if you life en Danmark

So had you never consider to sell dvd´s on our great site?

That would require a lot of unneccessary(?) work for something with a small yeild. Good idea in plan, but terribly hard in execution.

There really wouldn't be any point in it when you can easily find already released dvds all over the net. I could see starting a dvd trading usergroup for the more obscure shows that aren't officially released on dvd.

 ah, but then you start getting into illegal pirating and copyright infringement. Risky business.

True true, I still liked that T-Shirt Idea though. Maybe things other than DVD's could be more do-able. Like Shirts, mugs, and calendars or something. But if memory serves me correctly I think we may have already tried that... :?

I would say if you really wanted to do something with the DVD aspect...just keep us informed with what retro shows will be coming out on dvd..

however i can just as easily head over to DVDtoons or TVShows on DVD for that

Surely though if we started a trade or sell site then as long as the site advised that any sort of copyright infringement will not be tollerated and is down to the seller or trader and that any missuse of the system will result in the system being removed and the user being banned for life from his ip address - you know a 1 person spoils it for everyone rule?
Every time I visit RetroJunkit seems to change. Just glad the people dont.

Just too much work for something so redundant, I mean just like Jason said, amazon, ebay, and everything else is so convenient so why go through all the hassle and headache.

I have a friend who has a T-shirt press business, her artwork is kind of like Rohld Daul and I was thinking about asking her to design one or two for us, but I'm not sure when and if.

Yeah true, the more I think of it the more I believe its a failure just waiting to happen.

Didn't we both try something like this with cafepress and fail lol. I suppose if they were "official" retrojunk producks then i may be persuaded to buy some stuff, what about everyone else?

Yeah we did already try that but I think if you make the "Official" retro t-shirts, create a "store" on the site for it and then advertize in the forums and maybe even a tiny bit of outside advertizing.... you would be set. It probably wouldn't take off imediatley but give a lil time and then I think you would see the fruit of your labor
