I collect my local Sunday Comics. I've been doing this since Jan 2, 1994, when I started with the first one. Today I have about 640 comics. It's cool, although I don't know if it'll be worth anything. I also collect anything Titanic. I used to collect License Plates.

I collected Calvin & Hobbes for a while, but I decided instead to just buy the complete collection when I have enough money.

I used to read The Phantom religiously, but I've gone off it.

And I collect the old Star Wars newspaper strip: I have every strip from the 9 years it ran.

cool. For awhile I used to buy Archie Digest and other comic books when I was young, but I don't read those as much as I did as when I was younger.

I remember I collected the Calvin & Hobbes strips as well, but when I started to get the books I realised I didn't need to. Now I also want to eventually get the complete collection.

That's cool that you started to collect those along time ago....keep it up!
I really love an obscure comic strip by Ernie Bushmiller called NANCY & SLUGGO! I also collect some of the vintage 30's & 40's LITTLE ORPHAN ANNIE strips because Harold Gray was such a great artist.

More modern day artists that are good is the guy who did Calvin & Hobbes. There's that HUGE book that reprints everyone of his strips but it's super-expensive!

The best is still PEANUTS by Charles M Schulz. They opened a museum for him a few years ago, I really want to visit!
