mrs.link 8 years 6 months ago Posts: 1839	OK i think i spelt the recommendations wrong but w/e...does anyone here that knows me pretty well have any reccomendations for me for the PSP? I just got it like 30 minutes ago (and i am happy!!!) and im not sure what games might be good for it....any suggestions? Or even if you dont know me, games that are just good in general for me might be nice...

Well, anyway, Lumines is supposed to be good, Namco Museum, Frogger: Helmet Havoc, Ape Escape, and the movies. They're gonna quit making the movies, so they might be collectors' items in a few decades.

The PSP graphics dominate over the DS, and you can store not only game files, but music, pictures, and movies, and not to mention internet....those are just a few of the reason i went with the PSP. But thanks for the suggestions, ill keep them in mind!

The new guy 8 years 6 months ago Posts: 1011	Well I have a PSP to and these are the games I have so far SSX on tour (A cool snowboarding game) Need for speed underground: rivals (well kinda like NFSU 1) Dragonball z shinbudokai tenkaichi (kinda like budokai 3 on the ps2) Darkstalkers chronicle: the chaos tower (based on the original games) As you can see I have something with speed, fighting and long game titles, but still these are all great games in my opinion. Oyeah mybe I'm going to get the GTA game for PSP too I here that's a pretty good game too And I won't give any remarks about the DS, because that isn't the issue here

bamasailorjra 8 years 6 months ago Posts: 343	I really enjoy Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon for PSP. It's pretty much the same quality game you'd see on PS2. Very nice for a handheld. Also, I thought Tiger Wood's 2006 was a great game. I don't like golf that much but as a PSP game it's great.

System 8 years 6 months ago Posts: 74809	I dont think Metal Gear Acid is a fighting game though, it's a card game. Not that I have anything against that, but it is the reason I didnt get it and I thought to just make sure you know that before you go and buy it. I have a PSP and a DS :p but I'm having trouble finding games I like enough to buy for PSP. But I put an emulator on it for SNES which comes out nicely since the layout of the buttons are exact to the Snes controllers. :p

System 8 years 3 months ago Posts: 74809	Yea, PSP dosn't have many good games, although the Power stone collection should be a buy. DS has much better games, and it is cheaper. Only things that are good about PSP, are music and emulators. Graphics don't really matter anymore.

System 8 years 3 months ago Posts: 74809	i hate th elaod times of the psp, whiel the ds has zero load times. anyways, look for Monster Hunter when it comes out. It will rule all on the psp. oh and ds DOES have an emulator. doesnt the game boy advance emulator work ont he ds as well? my friend bought one for 120 dollars and it held every game ever made just about.

MicroMan 8 years 3 months ago Posts: 674 Account Disabled	No matter how hard I try, everytime I try to update my PSP, an error comes up, but I forgot which number it was. I looked the error up online and at every website it said I had to power cycle my modem, so I did, and still it can't update. I'm thinking about trading it in.
