    		 heres the reason the voice actors were switched when 4kids gave the rights to pokemon inc. so pokemonpalace.net has a thing going for saving the old actors at this time

        		 Well I'm used to the dutch voices too, but the voices should remain the same otherwise the story ewill get lame because people sound different then they used to. This goes for any cartoon

            		 I watch it because I like the animation, as well as the voice work. Those people are what give their respective character(s) personality. Change the actors (especially to ones that try to match the originals), and you lose that personality (and a major chunk of the fanbase).

              		 I haven't seen the show regularly in years in any form (sub/raw/dub), but I was pointed out the new voices on Youtube. They are awful!! Even though I was never a big fan of the dub voices in general, what they have now sounds awful. >

                		 The new voice actors suck! The character personalities aren't the same! Ash and Brock sound less mature, May sounds like Ash's mom, Meowth sounds a bit raspier, Jessie sounds more high-pitched, and James sounds more British! Max sounds all right, though.

                    		 While I really don't care what happens to the show (its god awful), those new voices I heard sounds... damn, are they even allowed to have those new voices? :shock: Its even worse then I could imagine! They be better off using the original Jap voice actors and subtitle it in English. Its not like kids are going to care as long as it has pikachu in it to amuse them. :roll:

                          		Being a fan of voice-over, this matters hugely to me. When I heard the news about the original actors being switched to amaturish fake ones, I was outraged. A friend of mine got a hold of emails to two executives at Turner Network to send letters and tell them how big of a mistake they made. I already sent them my email, telling them to give the show back to 4Kids, or else they just lost a fan. I don't watch Pokémon like I used to, but because of this, I threatened to never set eyes on it ever again, and I meant it. :x
