Anyone remember this system? I used to have it, the controllers were numberpads, and some games had special controllers like the racing one had a cool steering wheel and rocky had these cool handhelf bontrollers with a joystick at the top with a numberpad, and buttons at the grips..

I used to play it a lot when I was little

Hey Sendhelp! Introduce yourself in the say hello thread.

Another great Pre-NES era system along with Intellivision, Atari, and Socrates!

i remember thi system. it had the best controller: it had a HUGE-ass analog nob that was smooth as butter and it looked like a telephone with the buttons numbering 1-9.

so unlike the atari controller, which gave you weird callousses on your hands, the controller for the Colecovision made it really fun to play and easy on ur hands

By the way, you need to know that I got two TVs in my bedroom. One "recent" for the cable, dvd player and nintendo systems. The other one is older and it's for the Betamax and systems like Atari, Coleco or TI-99. Well, I'll post a pic of my "retro" TV installement:

Sorry for the nearly-poor quality of the image. I only have a 3.1 megapixel camera.

You sure are keeping true to your roots!

And the image quality is good.

It's because I hate emulators. I'd rather play my games in their original way. Even if the controller can be a b---- to play with.

You put us all us retrojunkies to shame. :(

One day I'm gonna go back and get all that stuff back from garage sales and re-retro-fit my home! 8)

I've got one hooked up in my room too. It's missing one controller, but it still works perfectly. I've even got the adapter to play Atari 2600 games on it :D
