wait, they're making it for PS3 only? BASTARDS!!! Seems like eveyone on this site is waiting for the new zelda game lol...

lol, well I guess I'm just one of those persons who's either on the Xbox or PS sides. And I'm a PS fan:p
I someone would get me an X-box 360 for free,I'd throw it back to them...

i heard xbox 360s were supposed to be peices of shit. That why i think ill put my money on the PS3.

If your talking about the Xbox360s overheating problem, didn't both the PS1 and PS2 have their share of problems with their first release. I remember the some of the first units of the PS1 drives were so bad you had to turn it upside down to play games. The PS2 was the same in terms of the drive, but had problems with disc read error. I'm betting the PS3 will have it's share of problems as well.

hmmm well i heard it wasnt the overheating problem, i though it was that they were just glitchy.

So far, the only game I'm looking forward to (and is Pre-ordered) is Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for Gamecube (it's still for Gamecube, isn't it? ^^).

The other game I was looking forward to for this year was Kingdom Hearts II but, as you know, that's already come out.

By the way, you can add two more games to my list.

        Legend of Zelda:Twilight Princess Wii
The Wii version looks like so much fun, the controller plus it's Zelda, how can you go wrong.

        Halo 3 Xbox 360
What can I say, after seeing the teaser trailer, I'm sold. I enjoyed both the first and second one, preferably the first though. I want closure on the story and I hope they add more than just prettier graphics.

the xbox 360 has alot of glitches....more than it should, especially for being a "next gen" console (which i dont believe). The ps3, right now, is being tested for any glitches. Now i know that wont stop 100,000's of people that buy it from getting glitches, but sony is taking extra care in it this time. for a price tag between 500-600 dollars (depending on the size hardrive you get) they cant afford to take risks. there would be too many people who actually had the money that dont now to get it fixed. and we all know....those warranties dont last long enough for a problem to come up.

as for Wii....price tag: $250. Theyre also going all out to test this thing, just like they did with NES and SNES and 64. All of those systems had VERY FEW glitches and i expect the same for the Wii.

correction: the Wii's price might not be 250. nintendo hasnt announced an official price, but they heard this rumor and said that the Wii should not be more than the suggested price.

in other words, it might be cheaper. :D

If the Wii is going to be as cheap as $250 or cheaper, then Nintendo just assured which next-gen console I'll be getting first.

I've owned all the others in the past, i.e. PS2, XBOX, and Gamecube. I only regret not having my Gamecube anymore. The others are all right, but I'm not one of those guys that's going to restrict myself to a single console just because of misplaced loyalty. Good games will always get my hard-earned money, always.

Yea goodgames are the selling point for me too. Which is why I like Nintendo so much. Mario Bros., Zelda etc. Originally, I wanted just the gamecube but after watching the upcoming titles I so wanted online console games so alot of the games I ended wanting were on the Xbox. After I got one, I fell in love with the S controller. Now it's the same thing, I want both the 360 games and the Wii games. We'll see what happens cause really, I'm thinking about just getting staying with one console because of time constraints. So I'll have to choose wisely.

not necessarily. there have been other smash-hit cell-shaded games for many other genres. its just that you havebt played them, so you dont have a feel for those type of graphics.

windwaker was SUPPOSE TO BE FOR THE YOUNGER AUDIENCE. thats the direction nintendo went with it. they decided on cell-shading because it looked more like a cartoon that way, so it would appeal more to the little kids.

now you guys are getting all puffed up: "why couldnt they make a game for the older audience as well?"

they did, or rather, they were working on it. sorry us older boys and girls got something way later than the little kids, but twilight princess is on its way.

they had to do it for the little kids. its a way to bring in more buyers for nintendo. and if you love(d) nintendo, why wouldnt you want it to appeal to the new gamers coming?

so when you guys think of wind waker, think of the children. youll realize how much fun it would be for them: "wow! its like playing a cartoon!"

if i had that kind of entertainment as a kid, i would have died from sheer bliss.
