    Ah, the greatest days.

My days were split between elementary school, friends, cartoons, and video games. The NES was probably the greatest era ever, with so many great games that were new and exciting. Ghosts N Goblins, Mario, Zelda, Pro Wrestling. The list goes on and on. But we were so into videogames in my family that we also made the Sega Master System and Atari 7800 part of the "family." Christmas was wonderful, unwrapping gift after gift. I remember one Christmas we got the Atari 7800 system with Food Fight, Galaga, and Robotron even though we already had an NES and Master System.

Later we moved onto the Sega Genesis and the ultimate gaming computer, the Amiga 500. Around this time the internet was just taking shape, as we bought a modem for the Amiga computer and tried to sign online through a service called DELPHI. It had an hourly charge I believe!

Really, there were so many great things about growing up in the 80's. From countless Saturdays of cartoons, fast food advertising, toys, Nickelodeon, cable tv, the emergence of video games, it is a time I will never ever forget.

If you do, PLEASE OH PLEASE take me with you. Anyway, I still have my old Nintendo and games and I'm even buying more through ebay and such. I guess the only thing I really miss from that are the advertisements in the stores and such.

I remember when the internet was introduced here properly (around 1995) we had to pay by the hour too.

That's it! Shaqdaddy and Ispear will build the flux capacitor, CrashOV will make the Mr. Fusion and I'll steal the Delorean from Old man Brown down the street.

Man, I remember Little Caesar's Pizza at my birthday parties and playing Nintendo until we had to pull out the sleeping bags. Even then we'd still play after my parents went to bed. I'm so thankful for roms, I get to play all the games my parents "gave away" when they were just "taking up space"... and I'll never forgive them for it... hahaha. Just kidding.
