Bubsy was a pretty kewl videogame character, so it's a pity nothing came out of it after the initial game. Perhaps it was a bit too strange or fast for people. Or, more likely, the dev.team just squandered it with poor sequels. :?

I've owned both Bubsy and Bubsy II on the SNES for years. I like the first one better. The play control felt kinda crappy in the second one...like they really sped things up which made it harder to control Bubsy. I guess that's why they made it so you had a health meter in that one instead of dying with just one hit like in the first.

Anyone ever play Bubsy 3D for the Playstation? What about the Bubsy for the Atari Jaquar (forgot it's name)? Bubsy 3D was like a Mario 64 type platformer I think. The Bubsy on the Jaquar was a 2D side scroller just like the 16-bit ones.

The atari Jaguar bubsy is pretty cool. I have it, but the only complaint I have about it is the collision detection meaning that it's extremely easy to die. Other than that, the graphics, and the sound are incredible for a 2D sidescroller.
