    		 I know this probably has already been a topic but I looked and couldn't find it. Has any of you guys had a Xbox 360 crash yet? I had mine 3 weeks after I got the system. I haven't returned it yet. I was wondering how your situation turned out. Shoud I have it referbished or replaced? Thanks for any input.

      		 Returned to the store. Waste of moneys.

        So you didn't even get a new one? I've already invested too much money in the games themeselves to just return it. I have like, 9 games. For those 3 weeks it did work I thought it was the most amazing system I've ever seen. Personal opinion. I do wish it wasn't a flawed system thugh. How nice that would have been.

            		 I've had mine for a few weeks and it's maybe freezed up once or twice but it hasn't happend enough for me to bring it back. Besides those little glitches, it's been flawless and I'm really happy with it. Aside from the games, I love being able to hook it up to my media center pc and stream all my content and recorded tv shows to it.

              		 I had one but sold it. The only prob I had was that when I played madden it would give me the error message that the disc was either dirty or damaged. But not all the time just 1 out of every 20 times i played it. But overall, I loved the system.

                		 Mine hasn't total crashed yet. but around launch people where reporting alot of it and I followed it a bit since I was scared mine would crash eventually too. it did lock up a few times during a game before but beyond that I'm safe. I heard somewhere that it had something to do with the dvd players in them, they use 2 different kinds and one of those where going to crash after 3 weeks. (I'm not making this up I did read this somewhere but dont remember where)
                U could see the difference by looking what color your dvd tray has. (Mine's white I think). People who told microsoft got to send ik back to them and the systems where replaced after a month. I would advise doing so as you cant play with it anyway if it doesnt work so missing it a month wont kill you.

                  Yeah, I plan to return it. It worked fine with intermittent freezing just like the situations you guys are talking about. Then I got an error message "E71" which is on the net. Then, I tried to play G.R.A.W and it froze completely. Now the fan is completely inop, the 3 "red light of death" show up on the front of the console and my darn game is still stuck inside! I'm going to get another system regardless. I enjoyed the heck out of it for the 3 weeks I had it. :cry:

                    		 X-box can go to hell. I'll be saving my money for the PS3 and the Revolution. The only reason people are buying the damn thing is for Halo anyways.

                      No way! Halo is a horrible game. I bought mine because I've just always stood with Microsoft. Halo can go to hell but I still would rather have a 360 than a PS3.

                                		 I just got my return e-mail from Microsoft Customer support about my XBOX. I'm freakin' outraged! After waiting for 5 days for a reply they sent me a link. What link? Oh well, it was a link on troubleshooting, particularly on how to "recycle the power" on the system. So, they pretty much told me to turn it off and then back on. What do they think? Gee, golly. Wish I had of thought of that. Thanks. Sorry, I'm venting.

                                    		 Well, after a little struggle I managed to get XBOX to agree to send me a new 360. I can't wait to start gaming again. I've missed so much. Hopefully this one won't bite the dust. :)

                                        Well, this was indeed a hassle for me but I'm still sticking by 360. More than likely I'll just buy a PS3 as well. I figure that there won't be another line in the systems for at least another 5 years.

                                          XBox 360 for about half that, and always crashing ? *rrrnt*
                                          Wii. Godly. Worth every penny. will keep me entertained for hours and hours. :D

                                          Hands down, I think Wii has the power to dominate this time.
