    Hey all...new memeber here...

Just a shout out to all who were about 6 years old the first time they walked into an arcade a saw Battlezone. That shit gave me chills. There is always a rush when you see something on the NEXT level for the first time and that was it. ..huge booth ...vector graphics...what a trip. I doubt If Ill ever get that high from a game again. well discs of tron was up there, but thats a whole other can of worms.

The freshness of that technology kept you wondering what would happen next.

    Any similar memories?

    -peace

Hell yeah! Running over people to gain health is always good. Putting 40 V-F-B-L shots into the last boss is even better. But I hated the submarines that fired the homing shots. Worse, they're always located in very narrow areas where I can't dodge the shots.

BZ was cool... even better the Star Wars Arcade Game (80s version) when you had the sitdown booth.... stereo speakers behind your head.

Yeah, the SW booth was rediculous too. I played that one for the first time a my birthday party hosted by the Dream Machine in Worcester c. 1983. I just saw an upright Road Blasters this afternoon that got me thinking about how amazing its boothed version was.
