Before you do, a quick question. Did you just type .png after your pictures name, or did you actually do this?
If you did it the first way, then it's still a bitmap and has a way larger file size than a PNG has. If it was the second way, then you're alright. I'm not insulting your intelegence, it's just that I've seen way too many people make that mistake.
