    		 So whats the story behind Blanka?

    he was suppose to be a kid that was lost in the jungle
    but this doesnt explain the following

    the green fur
    the bright orange hair
    electricty
    the shackles on his feet

    was he some type of super Irish kid that was enslaved by drug lords?

      		 I used to be HUGE into Street Fighter.

      Yeah, he was a Brazillian orphan who got in some sort of electrical plane crash or something that caused his wierd appearance (I, think). And the whole sub-plot in the game revolves around him trying to find his mother.

      If you go by the s@#$y movie, then he's an ex-solider named Charlie who got captured and turned into an evil monster by scientiests. Good job, Street Fighter screenwriters. :roll:

        yea, it crashed with some electricity in a sewer (therefore the weird colors and shit) I THINK! :D

          Charlie is another character in Street Fighter, and he's a big part of Guile's plot. Since they knew they had to have Charlie in the movie and felt Blanka's story was too unbelievable (like the whole freakin movie wasn't anyway), they just combined them into one character. Problem was, the geniouses in the studio forgot that a lot of people already knew how the story went beforehand.

            		 hmm cant rember where i read this from but i thought he learn his electricity moves from some elies and his other fighting moves from animales ie he was raise by animales so he adapted and turn into an animale

              		 I heard they changed the story in the movie because Jean-Claude Van Damme wouldn't star in it unless they changed it. He said he was insulted because he was raised in the jungle and it didn't make him cool like Blanka.
