Hey all, I'm new to the forum and a big fan of old console games, I was wondering if anyone knew of a site besides ebay that dealt in the selling of old console games for Sega, Nintendo etc. Thanks for the help.

      Hi, there!

      Here's a couple...

      The Game Trader http://thegametrader.com/games/default.asp

      Video Game Trader http://www.videogametrader.com/

They are kinda like GameStop where you can buy or trade games.

They sell all the retros and modern games (Atari through Xbox) and have a fairly good variety

      Hope this helps.

There's also eBay. There's store there that also sold part of consoles like adapters, controllers and cardtridges cases. This is where I bought a dozen of dust cover my SNES games.
          .

I prefer Game Crazy. One of their stores opened in my neighborhood 1½ years ago. It's amazing how cheap their games are. I got 8 SNES games there for roughly $50. And their newer games have surprisingly low prices. They also have rare old systems that most retailers don't carry anymore. NES, Sega Genesis, Virtual Boy, original Game Boy, Super Game Boy... You name it.

I'm lucky enough to WORK at a Game Crazy! :-D And hell yea it rules that we sell old school stuff. That's my expertise at the store cuz im an old school gamer and a old game collector. I got most the old systems growin up, still got them with the boxes for all the ones i bought back in the day. ALl in working order, but when people wanna know about a game, I've played or at least read about all of them so I can always tell them a bit about them.

It's gonna suck though cuz once the Nintendo Wii and the PS3 come out, we're gonna stop carrying old school stuff, most likely just stopping cartridge games but i wouldnt doubt if the oldest game we carry will be PS2 games cuz Dreamcast is considered "classic" in the store along with nes and SNES. That's gonna suck cuz I get tons of my games from work, but I always do a LOT of eBaying so its all good. Gotta make room for the new games, sadly, you know?
