The two South Park games were mediocre at best... disappointing to say the least.
Simpsons had some OK games, but most were just fair at best. Simpsons Hit & Run was pretty fun, but they should really use cel-shading for these games instead of putting them in a 3D world... it's the cartoon FEEL you're going for, so cel-shade them!
Family Guy should take a SIMILAR Hit&Run approach (which is borrowed, of course, from Grand Theft Auto)... and make the gameplay very open-ended with various missions that you can choose, and a bunch of mini-games.
I dont know if they released what gameplay will be like... but it'd be nice if they kept it open ended...
...and the games graphics tried to focus a LOT on how the cartoon is laid out with cel-shading, but enough detail to really make you feel like you're in the cartoon.
south park for n64 was a decent game. it was so off-the-wall funny and very entertaining. plus, it stuck to the cartoon itself, as you played different scenarios of the episodes in FPS mode, i thought that was pretty righteous.
