Yup, I remember James Bond Junior, it was cool 
Although, they obviously threw custom to the wind for the sake of a cool sounding name.
Junior, customarily, may only be given to a direct decendant. Aka father to son when they share the same name. In the cartoon, the elder Bond was the junior's uncle.
