Anyone remember the Sega Saturn? We had one really cool game for it called the Clock Work Knight. My grandma bought that for us to keep at her house and all of a sudden they quit making games for it. It finally tore up b/c it quit spinning the cd. :(

Also, what were your favorite Game Gear games? I should pull mine out next time I'm at home and play with it!

I liked Cool Spot. It was the spot from the 7-up can, but the best one was some kind of Star man thing. I forget the name of it, but you were this star-like guy and his arms stretched out when you grabbed swings and stuff.

Believe it or not (this is kinda embarrassing), my favorite was a power rangers game. I can't remember what it was called, but it was like a mortal combat type game and you could beat the green ranger and become him. It was pretty cool.

Ah, yes, I fondly remember Game Gear. I think I dished out $129 for mine and it came with Sonic 2. All the ads in the magazines made it seem so cool - Welcome to the next level!

Then the sad reality hit when I found out that it ate through 6 AA batteries in approximately 3 hours flat. 5-6 hours my arse! Anyway, I ended up getting an AC adapter so I could actually play the games normally.
I also remember hearing about how I could get a TV tuner add-on thing for it. Then when I buy it and read the manual I see the glaring print "This Model Does Not Support the Sega Game Gear TV Tuner". Alrighty, nice way to advertise to disappoint. Then again I'm sure the tuner was junk anyway.

I think the only games I owned were Sonic 1, 2 and Power Rangers. There just wasn't much of a library, which is what ultimately sealed its fate.

The closest I've been to a Sega Saturn was in Toys "R" Us when it was on display. Anyone play NiGHTS Into Dreams? I've heard good things about it.

Sega Saturn is bloody awesome and it's by far my favorite system. It kills me that it had such a short life, but in that short life it had some of the best games I've played. NiGHTS Into Dreams, Saturn Bomberman, Fighters Megamix, Shining Force III, and so on will always be classics in my book. I also had Clockwork Knight at one point, but ended up trading it in. It was okay, but just wasn't as fun for me.

Someday when I have the money I'd like to continue getting some of the Saturn games I missed out on like Burning Rangers, Panzer Dragoon, and Christmas NiGHTS.

I had a GameGear (got the same deal Michaeleon mentioned), but I never had many games. My favorites, though were X-Men and Sonic 2. I still remember that cool boss theme from Sonic 2 too.

I remember the old Game Gear. The games I played were Columns, X-Men, and Mortal Kombat. I almost broke Sonic 2 because I never had any idea how to complete the hang gliding part.

                  Ristar! That's it! Thanks!
That's much better than saying the star guy with the arms! LOL
