about a year back, i was at home, trying to see if u can beat bubble bobble with one player...u cant...when i get a call. It was my friend, Jon, he was screaming something over the phone...i couldnt make it out, something about wal-mart and finding something in a cart. He hung up before i could make it clear

I went to his house around 11:00pm he'd be getting off of work then, i was curious about what he found. I remember working at a supermarket, finding a dead dog in a shopping cart...

at his house he was still in excitment, i asked him about the finding...he showed me instead...in a shopping cart he found the following:

    an original still working nes
    power glove
    power mat
    4 controller adapter
50 games including 2 copies of mario 3
    a game genie
a note that read: if you find this, enjoy it...ive moved on to better systems

    *true story*

I can't believe anyone would be stupid enough to let all that great stuff go! Oh well, one man's trash is another man's treasure! Great story, Herokip!

          It was probably overstock....

Just before the Super Wal-Mart was built when I lived in Alabama (around 2002 or so), I stopped at the store one night with some extra money to burn, and came in and found Alien 3, in a battered original box, as well as The Rocketeer, and Robin Hood: Prince Of Theives new in box still shrinkwrapped, as well as I think two other games in boxes shrinkwrapped. I still come across stuff like that in old stores once in awhile.

Awesome find! the best part is your friend, a fan, found it and not somebody who has no idea what it is or cares. That would of gone to waste.

The original NES design sucks though. The guy could have at least left you a NES from the Super NES era. That version of the NES let insert your NES cartridges in the top like a normal system. The original NES had that stupid system where the contact pins get bent all the time.

                          I like said before.

I'm glad the right person found it instead of someone who wasn't a fan.

I always find old videos at my supermarket because no one uses them
