Does anyone know If there is a Box Set of this Classic. This was one of those shows that made saturaday's worth living. And I'm a big fan of the Matrix movies so I wanna see Lawerence Fishburn as Cowboy Dan (think that was his name). Man they need to put that show back on TV.

Hey, thanks for the info. Yea the shows back then when you look back on it were very wacked out. But hell, fun to watch. I don't think there are many people in the 25yo range that can't say they didnt love that show.

Did any of you guys see the original Pee Wee's Playhouse?

It was an HBO special I believe. It's what got the show for Paul Rubens. It pretty much had the same characters, but it was way more adult. A lot of "sexual situations." Phil Hartman played the sailor character, I forget the name.

Yeah, Pee Wee's Big Adventure was great.

Big Top Pee Wee...not so great. Probably because Tim Burton didn't direct. :x

I'm not sure where you can find the HBO show, I wouldn't mind seeing it again.

PeeWee was freaking awesome! My grandmom has the HBO special on vhs and it was hillarious. Paul Rubens is a good actor I love him as PeeWee and I loved his character in blow. I have always thought that it was just ridiculus that Hollywood and America ostracized him for whacking off in an adult theater just like every man that goes in does. I mean what did they think that he was going to go watch porn and knit? Come on!
I don't know about you, Miss Kitty, but I feel so much... yummier

somebody else: if you love it so much, then why dontcha marry it?

pee wee ensues on marrying the fruit cake, the cake had a gown and all.
the show was just classic, it was absolutely hilariour, and the movie was great.

pee wee will make a comeback

I used to love watching Peewee's Playhouse every Saturday morning. Cowboy Curtis ruled! Okay, so I just like saying, "Cowboy Curtis". lol If I ever met the dude who played him, I'd go up to him and say, "Wow, it's Cowboy Curtis." No, I wouldn't go on to talk about how great he was in, say, The Matrix; I'd talk about his role on Peewee's Playhouse. :lol:

Anywho, when Paul Reubens got arrested, I never did understand why. I think I asked my mom what happened to Peewee back then, and she simply answered, "He was playing with himself." I didn't understand what that term meant until I was like, 15 and thought about it one day. ^^;;
