System 10 years 5 months ago Posts: 74809	Yeah, I checked out the site with all the superplays. They may be doctored, but they are interesting to watch. I suck at SMB3. I suck at SMB1 too. I could never do that trick with the turtle to get 99 lives. I don't think I ever actually beat the game until I got the Game Genie, I used to always get to 8-3 and that's about it. Pathetic, ain't it? JP

Ryzen 10 years 2 months ago Posts: 97	My time on SMB3 is 12:51. I don't get 99 lives in that much time but i think 12:51 is pretty good. I don't miss any jumps and i don't use a turbo controller so. And in SMB1 I can pretty much match the Time Attack on the site accept 6 of the jumps, the jumps where he just barely misses the pirhana plants.

I remember seeing a time attack video where a guy beat SMB in 5 minutes. And it sure didn't look fake.

andrewg 8 years 5 months ago Posts: 152	http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmdhmp7GZrs i hold the world record..... 5 minutes 9 seconds. 1-1- 21 seconds (370) 1-2- 1:03 (346) 4-1- 1:31 (340) 4-2- 2:16 (357) 8-1- 2:57-2:58 (199) can be done in 200... my only real mistake in the video. 8-2- 3:32 i beleive (342) 8-3- 4:10 (242) slowed down to avoid fireworks. 8-4- 5:09 (310)finished in 5 minutes 9 seconds by Twingalaxies.com's rules. i dare you to try and beat any of my game unit times on any level, it is very difficult. super mario bros. 2-my fastest time = 10 minutes 28 seconds super mario bros. 3- my fastest time = 11 minutes 57 seconds. oh yeah and "When Batman fights a shark, everyone wins." when batman fights a shark, he uses shark repelent spray" hahaha.
