Wordplay 8 years 8 months ago Posts: 202	Playstation 3 once the "anti-piracy" measures has been modded out. I would never choose anything made by Microsoft simply because the company is so infamous (for example: for patenting originally free-for-all features and then making big bucks by suing companies and private persons). Nintendo, on the other hand, would be a valid choise had they not lost their way after N64 was published. Their games used to be for all audiences, but nowdays they are only for pre-teens. The retro-games are nice, but I play those on my comp or buy the original console. So Rev is absolutely 'no.' This leaves only PS3, which allows you to play PS2 games too.

adventure_of_link 8 years 8 months ago Posts: 9769	Here's the way next gen pans out for me: Rev > XBox 360 > PS3. with all the retarded DRM that is/was in the PS3 (eg: you put a game inside it, and it can only be read from that console), I'd even take a 360 over it.

ninjamonkey 8 years 8 months ago Posts: 572	ill be getting a revolution because so far, sales pitch for it labels it as the cheapest next gen console right now, at about 200-250 dollars, whereas tyhe xbox360 is up there at 300-500 and the ps3 is at 300-400. seeing how the revolution will also have internet play, the fact that im poor, and since im such a big fan of nintendo, i have to get the revolution.

System 8 years 8 months ago Posts: 74809	Nintendo's console will fail They have had too much of a bad run of unpopular consoles to be a real contender anymore. The fight is between PS3 and Xbox 360...personally i think the 360 has been an overhyped piece of crap so far...beyond flashy graphics nothing on it has screamed out "BUY ME"!!! The PS3 will be far superior so I am sticking with my old black Xbox until that comes out.

GrimmTrixX 8 years 7 months ago Posts: 139	you can't DL gamecube games on revolution, its COMPATIBLE with gamecube games. You can DOWNLOAD NES, SNES, N64, Genesis, and TurboGrafx-16 games. There's no word on if this process will be monthly subscription based or pay for the games seperately (like $2 for NES, $5 for SNES, $10 for N64,etc...), but thats the scoop. I work at a Game Crazy in RI, and the Nintendo representative comes in once every 2 weeks and told us all about it a couple days ago when he was last in my store. And he gets all the up to date info daily because he is an employee for Nintendo, not Game Crazy. But yea Revolution will PLAY all GC games, and it has 4 GC controller slots and 2 mem card slots, just like the GC itself, but you have to actually have GC games to play them, you can't download those.

Cdokes1 8 years 7 months ago Posts: 1033	No question the Revolution will blow the competition away with being able to download old Nintendo and Sega Gensis games too . I like playstation and Xbox but I have to go back to Nintendo because I miss playing Mario and Zelda and too the games will be 3-D on the Revolutionand the controller that made my mind up .
