There was a cartoon Sunkist commercial where they showed the process
of how they picked their oranges or something, and for some reason that commercial always stood out in my mind.

Another favorite (and I'm sure EVERYONE remembers this) is the commercial for Lemonheads with the nerdy kid running the wrong way on the football field. It had that cheesy 80's synth music playing in the background (I can still hear it in my head) that made it additionally wacky....lol.

i don't know if I'd call this one a favorite, but i sure heard it enough......see if you can figure this out:

    "HO, HO, HO, I'm hu-hu-hungry...."

The Commercials McDonald's had in the 80's ROCKED.
McDonald's don't have Commercials like that anymore.
It's OK, next time I'll make you listen. I wish that it were in the power of all children to say that to their parents and to know that indeed they would be heard as we were in those wonderful days on Waltons Mountain.Narrator The Waltons (From the Runawa

I used to love the McDonald's commercials, too. Anyone remember the one with the little girl playing in a piano recital? She sang a song to the tune of Fur Elise:
"Oh I wish I were already there, instead of here, playing this song, and I could have a chocolate shake, some cheeseburgers, and also fries.."

I play the piano, and everytime I play that song I get the commercial stuck in my head!!!

The colgate pump commercial stays stuck in my head even to this day. Other ones are the kudos bar(kudos im yours!) and the catchy diet coke commercial.

                              Slinky
What walks down stairs, alone or in pairs, and makes a slinkity sound? A spring, a spring, a marvelous thing! Everyone knows it's Slinky. It's Slinky, it's Slinky, it's fun, it's a wonderful toy. It's Slinky, it's Slinky, it's fun, it's a wonderful toy. It's fun for a girl or a boy. This one dates back much further than the 80s... but was still around during the 80s.

Snoopy Snow Cone Machine (song) Its yum yum fun and its cool and clean and its name is the Snoopy snow cone machine. You drop an ice cube in and get a snow cone out yum yum fun is what its all about. announcer: you mix the ice in with the fruit puch flavor two girls: yummy snoopy! Sunkist Orange Pop
"Good! Good! Good! Sunkist give me that good vibration..." with dirt bikes doing jumps in the background.

                              Sure
Had a GREAT jingle: "Raise your hand, raise your hand if you're Sure!" It showed all kinds of people lifting their arms, and finally closed with an image of the Statue of Liberty.

                              Sweet Pickles Books
"Smart moms know how kids' minds grow....upon Sweet Pickles!"

                              Wendy's
                              "Where's the beef?"

                              Wendy's
"Step aside", "Step Aside?" "Step Aside!" in reference to having to wait to have your burger fixed at other restaurants.

                              Wrigley's Double Mint
There were two identical twin women in green swimsuits, mini green beach wraps and beige straw hats walking by the pool side of the hotel in California. They were chewing Wrigley's Double Mint gum. They went past two identical twin men who were checking them out. Suddenly the women's hats blew off by the wind. The men caught them and next thing you know were couples, double couples that is! The theme song goes like this: A double pleasure's waiting for you. A double pleasure from double mint gum. A double great feeling making you realize double mint is the one for you. Double fresh. Double smooth. Double delicious to chew. A double pleasure's waiting for you. A double pleasure's waiting for you. A double pleasure's waiting for you.

                              Wrigley's Doublemint Gum
(1986)--Two identical twin women in green t-shirts and white shorts with blonde hair stroll on a pier past two identical twin men. The men pop gum into their mouths, and two dolphins hit two white and green balls up to the men, who then give the balls to the women. The catchy jingle: "A Double pleasure is waiting for you/A double pleasure is waiting for you/Double fresh feeling/Helps you realize/Double pleasure is the one for you/A Double Pleasure is waiting for you...(Double Mint Gum)." SLOGAN: Double your pleasure.

Oh, and every new addition to Lucky Charms...the purple horseshoe, the stupid red ballons, etc. Or, how about the McDonalds commercials with the moon guy singing his reworded version of Bobby Darin's 'Mack the Knife'....."Big Mac tonight"?

Don't forget the commercial for Cabbage Patch Kids.

The little girl makes a face and the lady tells her "your face will stick like that if you keep on doing that".

Then the little girl sees a cabbage patch kid doll with the same face & thinks her face got stuck from making faces.

That commercial was funny as heck back then.
