It's from mid-80s and all I can recall is the name Banihor (I think that is the correct spelling). It was well done, saw it on Cinemax (or HBO, don't recall) once and been looking for it. It took place in the future and the past.

GrimmBilly 9 years 4 months ago Posts: 211	The name of this movie is Light Years, based on a story by Issac Asimov. Gandahar is the name of the planet the story takes place on. It's a pretty cool animated film for the time. Very "trippy". You can find the DVD on ebay, but its most likely a bootleg. I'm still waiting on the offical release of this one and Fire and Ice. It's been a long wait.

Yeah, I saw Fantastic Planet "under the influence" back in the day. I swear that movie was made for tripping. I bought the DVD awhile back. It's only in it's original French language and has hardcoded subtitles...Lame.
