I have it. Just too lazy to install it :D

I played it at a friends house before (level 1) please tell me it gets better, since if not, it's nothing special (first thing you do... forget if it has levels).

Yes, Half Life 2 is a great game and I agree, the ending was little disappointing. If you are interested, you could buy the extension pack for it. It's called Half Life 2: Aftermath (Episode One), and it continues from the point where the original game left.

And for F.E.A.R, I think it's quite alright, but it requires a really good computer( just played the demo)

Same as above: the ending could had used more work. I would had loved to see more diversity in the enemies too and a proper sniper-rifle (the current one is *cough*). Or have it removed. There are slightly too many re-supply positions too, thus eliminating one aspect that made HL1 more exciting; the need to use well what you got.

As to tricks... There aren't any. There is some stuff to find, of course, and you'll enjoy playing the game again every once in a while, but that's it. No hidden/special tricks or anything.

Well now that I have finished I don't know what to play???,
FEAR I don't think so because my video card is 1gigabit Lan (Nvidia nForce4 Ultra chipset) I don't know if it is that good, and my RAM is 512 so the game could be a little slow to play.

Umm....I didn't quite get that part about "1gigabit Lan". You might have mistook it for your graphics card. See, LAN means "Local Area Network" and has nothing do with graphics card.

Could you please tell me more about your configuration?
:)

I played a little bit of Half Life 2 at a friends house, and watched him play more. I thought the game was simply amazing, both graphically and gameplay. I think any game like this is best played on a powerful PC that can handle the games maximum settings. That is unfortunate that it seems many fans are disappointed by the ending. I hate when good games get bad endings.

I played the xbox version, i found it rather fun, though i found the level with the water craft was long as hell, you just kept on driving down that river.

And one part that didn't make since was when the teleportation failed, that you didnt just head back in to see if he could fix it, you insted traveled along for awhile.

I love when you upgrade the gravity gun and you could throw guys! That was sweet.

I've yet to beat HL2 and I've had it the day it came out. I think I stopped just after the citizens rebel. Usually, I'm screwing around with the game files trying to make it more to my liking. I always hated how the shotgun only carried six shells in its magazine and I could only carry 12 .357 Magnum slugs at any one time.

The thing about having to travel from Dr. Kleiner's lab to Black Mesa East was that during the malfunctioning teleportation, you teleport into Dr. Breen's office. He knows exactly who you are and what you're capable of, so he has to warn his Combine overlords and send out all those scanners to find you. Dr. Kleiner and Barney couldn't let you back in for fear that your presence will bring the Combine down on them and risk everything they've worked for the past few years.

Besides, if you had teleported directly to Black Mesa East, you wouldn't get the chance to shove the Combine machine gun right up that hunter-chopper's exhaust port!

But then it got better, then it decay again when you had the car. It is a bumps game!
