Dawg 8 years 8 months ago Posts: 484	Mario 64 blew me away when it first came out because of a whole new dimension in gameplay and it was just an overall fun game to play where you never knew what to expect on the next level. Then in a close 2nd place would be Mario 3... just because of the sheer variety in gameplay that was a huuuge difference & improvement over the original, but it wasn't ground-breaking... just refreshing.

Wordplay 8 years 8 months ago Posts: 202	Hardly surprising if most of the guys here vote for "regular Mario." Can't say more than that myself, since a choise between any of the pre-Gamecube Marios is too hard for me. Excluding Yoshi's Story, which was poo.

Hordak Alpha 8 years 7 months ago Posts: 801	I suppose Super Mario Bros., Super Mario World and Super Mario Kart although I've never gotten even close to the end of Bros. or World. My one great gripe about Mario games is how easily Mario can get killed off like he gets touched by a goomba and he instantly loses a life. Mario has always needed a health bar and I'm glad to see that alot of the Mario fan games have a health bar. The official games definitely need this feature.

Shot King 8 years 7 months ago Posts: 617	The platformer games (Mario 3, Mario World, Super Mario 64) will always PWN todays Mario games, aside from the RPGs which are also very good too. I'm upset on how Mario is being rolled out into spin off sports games like golf, baseball, soccer, tennis and parties. It wont be long before they come up with Mario basketball, blowing, or even Mario teaches driving.

andrewg 8 years 7 months ago Posts: 152	i dont know if i like super mario bros 3 or super mario bros 1 better. i know a ton more about super mairo bros. 1 and very cool glitches haha. super mario bros. 3 is cool because you can fly though. i just have a fun time doing glitches and beating super mario bros. 1 fast.
