        		 Uh, no. There was a semi-sequal called Donkey Kong Racing that was in the works for the Gamecube. It got canned when Nintendo ditched Rare. Judging by early screenshots, the racers would've been purly DKC characters & they rode on the animals instead of veichles.

        There was also Diddy Kong Pilot for the GBA that looked more like Diddy Kong Racing, but it was eventually released as Banjo Pilot with Banjo Kazooie characters instead.

          		 The thing with Diddy King Pilot, however, is that it was supposed to use the tilt feature that's used in games like Super Monkey Ball that came out for GBA... but it never did when Rare took over, and therefore the game wasn't what it cracked out to be.
