I'd have to disagree with the Pong remake... that is, if you're referring to the game that was released on the PC. On the PC, they released several "classic" Atari games that were updated to today's graphics for a budget price of $20.00. Some of those included Q-Bert, Combat, Defender, Missle Command, Pong, Breakout... and I think a couple others.
MOST were really neat & fun-to-play, especially Missle Command & Pong... Combat I remember was pretty bad, though.
I'd like to see a computer re-make of Yars-Revenge, and not just a GBA release of it, among a few other classics & "classics" (ie: late 80's) re-made for today's computers (or consoles).
I'd also have to disagree with the Bond games after Goldeneye... sure, the "From Russia With Love" may not have been the best (although I like it)... two of the best Bond games in single player are 007: Everything or Nothing & 007: Nightfire. Both games had great in-game cut-scenes that really brought you into the action as well as the overall presentation & graphics with gameplay that was quite intreging. It had a LOT more depth than Goldeneye... however, Goldeneye still wins out on multiplayer, but the single player action of the 2 Bond games w/ Pierce Bronsan really were spectacular and made you want to play so you can see what's ahead.
The one I was MOST disappointed in, however, would have to be NARC because I was really looking forward to an update of one of my most favorite arcade games. I know there are others, but that's one that stands out the most since Midway usually releases fun/arcady games. Area 51 was a decent re-make from what I played so I can't dis that one.
