In the late 80's or early 90's, Nickelodeon (I THINK) ran a series of PSA music videos. There was one where the refrain went "It's all the same, all the same, alllll the same. He and she add up to we, when we're living in equality".

ANYONE? I really need the lyrics to this for a class. Please.

I know exactly what you are talking about.

It was not on Nickelodeon, but was from a series of music videos produced for the Fox Kids Network during the early 1990's. The one you are questioning about is called "It's All the Same" and was performed by a group called Uma. Also, the theme of the music video was "Equality". There were other ones made about "Tolerance" and "Sensitivity", etc.

I actually received a bunch of Fox Kids tapes in a trade last week and this happened to be on one of the videos.

      The lyrics are as follows:

He's the only boy in the ballet class
He doesn't mind, he just likes to dance
Some of the girls make fun, but it's all the same to him
      It's all the same
      It's all the same
      All the same
He and she adds up to we when we're living in equality
She's the only girl on the baseball team
Some of the boys would be so mean
She won't let it get her down, cause it's all the same to her
      It's all the same
      It's all the same
      All the same
He and she adds up to we when we're living in equality
He and she adds up to we when we're living in equality
      "Equality"

      Hope this helps you out.
