Do you remember the original Micro Machines? I say original because they are around today and are not the same as they used to be.

Anybody remember those cool playsets that the had for them?

Or my favorite the commercials of them with the guy that talks a mile a minute.

Micro Machines I used to love 'em.

It's OK, next time I'll make you listen. I wish that it were in the power of all children to say that to their parents and to know that indeed they would be heard as we were in those wonderful days on Waltons Mountain.Narrator The Waltons (From the Runawa

I had hundreds! I remember my first playset was a 7-11! As a promo, 7-11 sold them for a time and it got me hooked on them. I expanded from having just the regular ones to having the military ones and eventually some star wars ones.

God I loved those things. I remember my whole coffee table in the basement was a little city for weeks on end. God that was fun!

I tried to con my friends into going in on 'em as an investment opportunity....for some reason my Dad refused to sponsor this venture, citing a misuse of valuable resources as the reason. The bastard never let me have any cool toys.

I loved the original Micro Machines. I had tons of them, and also the old play sets that could be connected to form towns. They were great, wish I had taken better care of them.

Remember Super Van City? That was such a cool set. I never had that one though. My uncle bought me a Power Rangers set.

Those were so cool! I remember just shortly after the original micro machines came out there were knock-offs in the stores called Micro Magnifiers- they were almost exactly the same, but came in 5-packs and included a little magnifying glass. They were slightly cheaper than the real Micro Machines- that's why I liked them better! :-)

I remember them, too! I think my parents bought a couple of them for my birthday or something and I let them know that they weren't the right ones!! But yea, I also remember Super Van city! I didn't have one, though. I mainly bought the playsets that you could connect with roads to form cities.

Yeah, I used to collect them. I had a couple of the sets that you could hookup and make a big town. I also had a few of the travel set that looked like car parts, then unfolded into a piece of a town set that you could hookup to other travel sets. I had the one that looked like a Car Battery and and one that looked like an oil can. I have all of this stuff in storage, haha. I pretty much have all of my childhood toys in storage at my parents.
