I've been listening to alot of new Retrowave and Vaporwave music. sounds just as good as the original music from the 80s.

I've also been getting into Retro/Vapor/Synthwave recently. What artists are you currently listening to? The artists I've been getting into are Action Jackson, cobra copter, Com Truise, Flash Arnold, Garth Knight, Lueur Verte, Miami Nights 1984, Power Glove, Protector 101, Timecop1983, and Trevor Something.

One thing I miss about radio and MTV back in the day is it would introduce you to music you would have never heard and you would discover some good stuff. I dont really have time to go digging through genres and bands to find stuff I might like. Modern radio is worthless garbage and Pandora generally only play music you already know about.

I agree about radio and especially MTV but not pandora. For me, I have a very long list of interesting bands I've first heard there. But I think it depends on what subgenres you're into and how you use the like/dislike buttons.

I know the stations I have set up on Pandora for the holidays have really turned out great. I am especially impressed by the Halloween station. After a couple Halloween seasons worth of like/dislike input, it's really been narrowed down to just the best Halloween novelty songs of the past 50 or so years. Really great stuff.

                Picture here
Myself and DMoney89 meeting up in Atlanta for Dragon*Con this past weekend. It was fun to actually meet one of the older users in person.
Back for the 4th time? 5th time? I lost count.

Re: Vaporwave - I really enjoy it. Think it sounds good. But I feel like it's often what someone thinks the songs of the 80's sounded like without actually hearing it.

Re: Dragoncon - Anyone here from Georgia? I'm literally a blast from the past. Haven't lived in the U.S. since early 2000. I'm returning this year and would love to know how things have changed as to me, Georgia is still the Georgia I have in my memories - Truly retro.

The server used by the hosting company suffered a critical failure and as a result new hardware had to be installed. They are reinstalling everything from a backup at the moment.

Cells are still used in animation today. The drawings are drawn on cells before being scanned into computers before being digitally inked and painted.(Outlining and coloring in). I think what you are talking about is non computerized animation AKA Traditional ink and paint camera animation.
