Google has signed an exclusive deal with Clear Channel Outdoor, to advertise on the world's largest billboard in Times Square.

How much? No one really knows except Google, but it must be millions!

The bald guy in the video is Harry Coghlan, President and General Manager of Clear Channel Outdoor in New York City.

Do you ever wonder why it is that giant, behemoth companies, with brands so iconic and recognizable that there isn't anybody that doesn't know who they are, spend gazillions of dollars on advertising? I don't get it.

And I don't buy the "It's because of all that marketing that they are so big" argument. Maybe that could be true years ago... but today?

And in this case it looks like money wasted. The largest billboard in Times Square is simply lost in a giant forest of billboards. Everything you look at is awash in colorful lighting. The only lights not blinking are the traffic signals!
