I have this song stuck in my head right now and I can't figure out what movie it's from. I think it was a weird, non-Disney version of Pinocchio, but it might have been something else.

Anyway, the song is catchy and kind of haunting and some of the lyrics go, "You can make some funny faces, take me to terrific places, but I know I'll never, ever laugh again." All I remember is the guy who sings this sad song is some little white guy (like the Michelin guy or something... I can't remember what he is exactly, just that he's pretty much all white). And for whatever reason, he is always sad until he falls in love again...or something... Does this sound familiar to anyone?! I can't for the life of me figure out what it is from. :(

Also, another part of the song went, "You can tickle me with a feather, you can talk of sunny weather, but I know I'll never, ever laugh again."

(I know I heard it while at my grandma's house because my sister was in another room, watching the movie [VHS, naturally] on TV. I wasn't watching it, but I walked by and heard that little guy's song and really liked it for some reason and then would walk around singing it for the next few days.)
