    RIP Jan Hooks
She was one of the best female performers the show ever had. One of my favorite bits is the one she did when she was a waitress in a midwest diner and Alec Baldwin becomes skeptical whenever she tries to give him free pie. Baldwin says to her in a real exaggerated cowboy voice: "Pie is never free!"

I fell for Jan Hooks back when she was a regular on Bill Tush's comedy show on Superstation WTBS in those crazy years of 1980/1981.

Jan's version of Tammy Faye Bakker was quite over the top. But I'm so glad that her song session parody of Helen Reddy's "I am Woman" is still on YouTube!

      Rest In Peace Jan Hooks

I hated to hear this. She died way too young. My first thoughts of her immediately go to her Tammy Faye Baker impression on SNL. LOL. Such funny stuff.
