Richard Attenborough not only had an amazing career, his brother is the honorable David Attenborough. Quite a family.
I still think Richard Attenborough's greatest performance is in the 1963 movie, "The Great Escape". As movies go, The Great Escape is a who's who of excellent actors from that era, special note to James Garner fans.
Here's the scene where Richard Attenborough's character avoids capture but Gordon Jackson's character get's tripped up, Good Luck indeed:
