This is interesting because in the past I have found that the media seems to use the most innocent looking pictures. They damn near use baby pictures to portray people who are in there 20's and look like full grown thugs.

Agreed. In the Trayvon Martin case, I don't remember ever seeing any pictures of him at his current age.

Maybe they're the only photos they can find? ..
But I dunno whether they deliberately choose
those photos to represent the man or did it

The people behind the media's goal is to keep us riled up. Always look at any news story with skepticism. They intentionally omit information and focus on other information to control our emotional response to a story.
