For the week of April 1, 2015, we have two new......CONSOLES on the Virtual Console store for the Wii U. Two consoles that were more worthy than anything else on the store are now available here today for you to finally play in high definition on an official Nintendo system for the very first time.

So go buy a pack of SURGE, take a day off of work and enjoy these long-awaited titles as you relive your childhood in glorious HDMI color. And for those that have purchased the first title already, the discount comes at a measly two bucks. So really, you have no reason not to purchase it.

Oh, and nothing for the 3DS this week.

      Super Mario 64
      (Release Date: September 26, 1996)

      Yoshi's Island DS

For the week of April 16, 2015, we have only one release for the Wii U. At long last, you can finally complete the Donkey Kong series on the Wii U. Enjoy playing all of your monkey adventures anew in high definition.

Alright, well, due to the fact that nobody checks on this daily, I will no longer have commentary with these posts or an introductory statement until at least one person is checking up on this weekly; unless that person acknowledges these posts right now by replying. As to which case, I will continue with the daily statements.

Otherwise, I will only state what new releases are for which console and that is it; only throwing in unique facts from time to time. With that being said, I will say this one last time; until further notice.

For the week of April 23, 2015, we have only one release for the Wii U.

            Mario Kart DS
            (Release Date: November 14, 2015)

For the week of April 30, 2015, we again only have one release for the Wii U.

            Paper Mario
            (Release Date: February 5, 2001)

The reasoning of which the 3DS has had no recent new releases is beyond me if you noticed that. I have not added a single 3DS Virtual Console title to this list in well over a month now, well the Wii U is just packing it in with great releases.

I would like to add that Capcom is running an eShop sale that includes Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara for $5.99. Chronicles of Mystara includes the arcade classics Tower of Doom and Shadow of Mystara, plus online multiplayer and video filters like CRT scanlines. I highly recommend it, get it before Capcom's contract with Wizards of the Coast eventually expires.

Gotta make up lots of missing weeks in one post. Did not have a computer for the longest time. Oh, and all releases are for the Wii U, as the 3DS might be delayed on Virtual Console releases for a while due to its upcoming list of retail games on the way.

For the week of May 21, 2015, we have two releases.

                    Earth Defense Force

For the week of May 28, 2015, we have four releases.

                    Rival Turf!

For the week of June 4, 2015, we have only one release.

                    Pac-Attack
                    (Release Date: January 1, 1993)

For the week of June 11, 2015, we have only one release. One that has been on high demand for quite some time since the release of this Virtual Console entry.

Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town
                    (Release Date: November 17, 2003)

As life goes on, my busy schedule prevents me from updating on a weekly basis. As usual, time to review all of what was released in the prior weeks of my absence.

Very sad to hear that the 3DS Virtual Console is going on a temporary hiatus until further notice, though. All releases that I list are only for the Wii U. Perhaps, they are finally giving that other system a break due to how much it is already one upping the Wii U.

For the week of July 9, 2015, only one release for the Wii U. Unexpectedly, another N64 release, but not a good one.

                            Mario Tennis
                            (Release Date: August 28, 2000)

For the week of July 16, 2015, a long-awaited NES title.

                            Blaster Master
                            (Release Date: November 30, 198

For the week of July 23, 2015, we have a lackluster Nintendo DS release.

                            DK Jungle Climber
                            (Release Date: September 10, 2007)

For the week of July 30, 2015, we have a parade of releases that prelude to Kirby's then-upcoming twenty-third birthday. That day is today, just in case you were wondering.

Also, only because it is still a past console, I have decided to re-include the Wii games that they release on here. I do not consider it to be something that does not belong since it IS a past system.

                            Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards
                            (Release Date: June 26, 2000)

                            Kirby: Squeak Squad
                            (Release Date: December 4, 2006)

                            Kirby's Return to Dream Land
                            (Release Date: October 24, 2011)

Sadly, the 3DS Virtual Console has been abandoned for good as of recently, so all further releases onward will simply be on the Wii U only. But, hey, you got plenty of modern games to satisfy your tastes. I mean, you DID buy a 3DS because of its own games, right? I am sure you did.

For the week of August 6, 2015, we have two releases. One of which I recommend if you are a fan of a certain golden-haired boy.

                              Golden Sun: The Lost Ages
                              (Release Date: April 14, 2003)

                              Omnimusha Tactics
                              (Release Date: November 11, 2003)

For the week of August 13, 2015, we have only one release. However, this is a title that nobody probably expected to see at all on here. And is probably the most recent Virtual Console release to ever show up on here and will be the most recent indefinitely for sure.

                              Pandora's Tower
                              (Release Date: April 16, 2013)

My apologies, it has been a while since I updated again. As usual, time to recap.

For the week of August 20, 2015, we have two releases; one of which is a long-awaited sequel.

Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising
                                (Release Date: June 23, 2003)

Genghis Khan II: Clan of the Gray Wolf
                                (Release Date: September 23, 1993)

For the week of August 27, 2015, the very first import title to hit the Wii U. Both that, and its sequel! Sin and Punishment fans? Time to rejoice! Both of your beloved games have arrived.

Speaking of Wii, that is now an official entry in the Virtual Console store! So, now I do not feel bad for adding them to this list, as Nintendo considers them Virtual Console.

I don't think Super Mario Galaxy 2, or any Wii games should be consider Virtual Console titles.

Well, too bad! Nintendo now considers them Virtual Console titles!

Anyway, with that victory now being completed, let me finally show you what we have this week.

                                Sin and Punishment
                                (Release Date: October 1, 2007)

                                Sin & Punishment: Star Successor
                                (Release Date: June 27, 2010)

For the day of August 31, 2015, this Sunday evening brings forth an unexpected NES title that we never thought would be on the Virtual Console. For the first time in its history, a VS Title.

These were Japanese exclusives for the longest time and never actually did get released on American NES systems, so this is a first for the service. Also, this brings forth the second import title already within less than a week! Nintendo is really stepping up their game now.

                                Vs. Excitebike
                                (Release Date: August 31, 2015)

For the week of September 3, 2015, we are back on schedule once more and back to bland releases. Well, except for the fact that we already have another NES title, something I thought would have for sure been in another month or so.

                                Mario Golf
                                (Release Date: June 30, 1999)

My apologies, I listed some games a little earlier than their actual release date. I have since corrected them in the previous post. So, with that being said, let us move on. As usual, I missed a week.

For the week of September 10, 2015, a game that was incorrectly listed for the prior week.

                                  Tecmo Bowl
                                  (Release Date: February 24, 1989)
                                  (Invalid img)

For the week of September 17, 2015, another single release.

                                  Car Batter Joe
                                  (Release Date: July 30, 2002)

Just because of how lackluster this month was, I was not influenced to continue adding onto this for a little while. I will probably do the same this month, so expect another post after this around December as they introduce a new system to the Virtual Console. Anyway, time to review what I missed.

For the week of September 24, 2015, one release.

                                    The Ignition Factor
                                    (Release Date: January 12, 1995)

For the week of October 1, 2015, one release.

                                    River City Ransom
                                    (Release Date: January 27, 1990)

For the week of October 8, 2015, a very obscure release.

                                    Pocky & Rocky with Becky
                                    (Release Date: October 18, 2002)

For the week of October 15, 2015, yet another disappointing title that is missing a key feature to make it very fun.

                                    Final Fight
                                    (Release Date: September 26, 2001)

For the week of October 22, 2015, another port of a game that already has the superior SNES port on here that you should get instead of this one.

                                    Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts

For the week of October 29, 2015, the only clone release that is actually worth something. For any female gamers out there that was disappointed in the earlier Natsume release back in June, here is their response to you.

And as I predicted, these past two months have given us very lackluster releases.

For the week of November 5, 2015, a decent release.

                                      Stinger
                                      (Release Date: September 4, 1987)

For the week of November 12, 2015, the dreaded GBA ports of games we already have on the superior Super Nintendo continues.

Contra Advance: The Alien Wars EX
                                      (Release Date: November 3, 2002)

For the week of November 19, 2015, I do not even have to say it.

Super Street Fighter II Turbo: Revival
                                      (Release Date: October 30, 2001)

For the week of November 26, 2015, THE STREAK IS OVER! An actual original Game Boy Advance release.

                                      Konami Krazy Racers
                                      (Release Date: June 11, 2001)

Nothing for December 3, 2015. I think they are giving up by this point.

For the week of December 10, 2015, we have "two" releases. Once again, they release a game that only benefits with multiplayer features. For some reason, one of them is exclusive to the Game Boy Advance.

                                      Medabots
                                      (Release Date: March 31, 2003)

For the week of December 17, 2015, we have "three" releases. Yup, they did it two weeks in a row, with the latter not benefiting at all for picking the inferior GBA version over the superior DS version that would have been a BETTER release.

At any rate, they at least compensated with the first game actually being different this time around.

                                      Mega Man Zero 4
                                      (Release Date: October 4, 2005)

                                      Mega Man Battle Network 5
                                      (Release Date: June 21, 2005)

I knew I'd have to come back to this eventually, but at least a few of the new additions are not horrible. And, as usual, the 3DS will be scarce until Pokémon.

For the week of December 24, 2015, nothing. Yeah, the year of the NX is definitely drawing close as the eShop Virtual Console actually manages to bring forth nothing new after a week's wait. Wii U fans will only begin to hate Nintendo more and more.

For the week of December 31, 2015, a surprise; an addition to a console we all thought died out a few months back.

                                        1080° Snowboarding
                                        (Release Date: March 31, 199

For the week of January 7, 2016, the NES Virtual Console is resurrected after a long absence of titles and makes way with a slew of new ones; almost all related to light gun games. Perhaps, to promote Duck Hunt from Super Smash Bros. Again. Since he used all of those characters in his moveset.

                                        The Adventures of Bayou Billy
                                        (Release Date: June 16, 1989)

                                        Hogan's Alley
                                        (Release Date: October 18, 1985)

                                        Wild Gunman
                                        (Release Date: October 18, 1985)

For the week of January 14, 2016, a very solid release; one that everybody was waiting for.

                                        Metroid: Zero Mission
                                        (Release Date: February 9, 2004)

For the week of January 21, 2016, a very unexpected release. One by Square-Enix, perhaps hinting of future Final Fantasy titles to hit the store in the near future. They're certainly showing their positive side to Nintendo after years of neglect.

                                        Final Fantasy Tactics Advance
                                        (Release Date: September 8, 2003)

For the week of February 4, 2016, disappointment.

For the week of February 11, 2016, a slew of releases; very unusual for Nintendo. However, they're all themed again, this time in the puzzle genre.

                                        Polarium Advance
                                        (Release Date: November 17, 2006)

                                        Kuru Kuru Kururin
                                        (Release Date: February 11, 2016)

Actually, this one is a unique release in that it's the first time North America has ever seen it. Only Japan and PAL regions ever got to play it. The only way you would know of this guy is if you played Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

                                        Big Brain Academy
                                        (Release Date: June 5, 2006)

For the week of February 18, 2016, a surprising amount of releases that are all good.

Double Dragon III: The Sacred Stones

Ninja Gaiden III: The Ancient Ship of Doom
                                          (Release Date: August 24, 1991)

For the week of February 25, 2016, two titles that finally saw their future release as we had known about for many months.

                                          Medabots AX
                                          (Release Date: March 31, 2003)
