Go see this one! it's an excellent sequel in the new prequel trilogy as Andy Serksis does a nice performance as Caesar and so does Gary Oldman. This one delivers the goods and all that like the first prequel did.

      I liked it also...action packed!

I really liked the 2011 Rise of The Planet of The Apes
so I might check this out once it came out on DVDs.

Has anyone seen the original PoTA sequels by any
        chance?

I started watching them all again on Blu Ray (which for the $20 box set, is the way to go) and I appreciate each film more and more. Sure there's some goofy moments, namely Escape From the Planet of the Apes, but as a saga it tells a unique story that still holds up.

I think "Beneath the Planet of the Apes" was the goofiest.

I agree and who else thought Gary Oldman was superb?
