Just got the info from Rotten Tomatoes. When I first heard the news, my first thought was "WHAT?!?! This is ridiculous, Walt Disney once again rolls in his grave!!!" Then I realized that there was a remake of 101 Dalmatians in 1997 that turned out to be really good. Who knows? Maybe this will be pretty good too.

I dunno this idea sounded pretty stupid. Out of all the
movies in the animated canon that they could of adapted
why did they chose Dumbo of all things?

As long as were talking about live action Disney remakes, I might as well bring this up:
I saw that teaser. Seems to me they're wanting to make the story closer to the fairy tale, despite using the names of the characters used in the 1950 movie. This and Dumbo (if it ever makes it out of the development stage) are the only remakes from Disney I want to see, especially since the latter might have that Frozen Fever short attached to it.

I wonder how they will handle the crows, will they still be shuckin' and jivin'? Will they take them out entirely? Change them to pigeons or some other kind of bird? Give them different dialect/accent?
Maybe they do Song of the South next.
