    		 So yeh I was grocery shopping the other day and I had a flashback of a drink I used to get at the store when I was a kid. I doubted they still made it but I checked anyways.. and found nothing. Now I've been searching online like crazy just because this has been bugging me the past couple days.. but I can't find anything that it even existed.

    It was some time between 1991-1993.. my mom would take me and my little brother grocery shopping and we would always get this shake as a reward for good behavior. It was in the refrigerated milk section and came in a milk carton. All I can remember is that there was chocolate, vanilla, (probably strawberry too) and had some cool guy cartoon character on the front surfing a wave with sunglasses on.. if I remember correctly. I'm almost positive it said something like SHAKE in big bold letters on the front which is how I spotted it and started begging my mom to buy it for me every time we went. I don't really have much else to go on.. except that the store we went to was Ralph's.. not sure if it was exclusive or even if it was available outside of CA.. and I think the majority of the carton was yellow with a big blue wave on the front. But yeh.. it was pretty good, thick stuff.

    If anyone can remember this shake or has a link to a picture of it that would be awesome!! Let me know what's good! Thanks in advance.

      		 I don't recall ones with cartoon characters on them, but such milkshakes have been around for a very long time. I used to get them back in the early 80s.

        Oh wow that's crazy. I had no idea they were around since then. Yeh I was on Google trying to find some pictures but instead started finding all these other shakes I never heard of that were available at grocery stores.. one called "the great shake" and I think another was called "shake it up" or something like that.. but none of them were the one I used to get in the carton.. those came in a can or came as powder and you had to make it..

        Oh well.. even though I probably won't find it, at least I found something else along the way.. I saw some other shake my mom used to make for us back in '93 called Alba. It was like a chocolate shake mix with blended ice in it.. and they have a website up still where you can order it direct or search for a store near you that still carries it! Guess I'll be hitting up Stater Bros. today :)
