    		 I have been looking for whatever show this was part of (thought it was Tales From the Darkside or Tales From The Crypt), though I haven't found it yet. Basically, an alien befriends this little kid near the middle of the show, but the parents are trying to kill it because they think it is dangerous. All I really remember is that the kid and alien are making decorations for Christmas, and the parents barge in and think the alien is going to hurt the kid and shoot it. The printed paper banner that the alien has in its tentacle/hand unrolls and says "Merry Christmas" as it dies. It was on one of the many horror shows from the 80s, and any help figuring out which one it was would be greatly appreciated.
