I said my hellos, so let's get to business!
Anyone watch these new retro antenna channels such as Antenna TV or MeTV? If you are one of those viewers, some of you might know that the Live Well Network, a service of ABC (Disney), will go off the air on January 2015. Could this open up an opportunity for Disney-ABC to start a retro network of its own?
Comcast/NBCUniversal has COZI TV with shows like Knight Rider, Miami Vice, and Six Million Dollar Man, all of which are Universal shows. Fox has MOVIES! which plays a lot of old 20th Century Fox films such as Shirley Temple and Marilyn Monroe films, in addition to other studios. And MeTV has a lot of classic shows from the CBS library; while CBS doesn't own MeTV, our major-market CBS cluster airs the channel.
That means ABC is the missing link! Do you want to see a retro diginet with Classic Disney and ABC Movies of the Week? You should write letters to Disney-ABC and your local Live Well affiliate and let them know you want to see a retro Disney network!
Also, place your favorite classic Disney (last century) or ABC TV movie in this space (and letter)!
I like the 1989-1994 Disney animated films, DuckTales, Chip 'n Dale, TaleSpin, Goof Troop, and Bill Nye! And growing up on the 80s and 90s, I remember the ABC TV movies very well!
Good luck on your efforts! I want my MickeyTV!
Respectfully yours,

It better be on OTA digital TV and not cable! Bet it may still keep traditional Saturday Mornings Alive!!
